Absolutely unreal experience with Joey! 100/10 recommend. He shot my engagement shoot and not only were the photos EPIC, the entire photo experience of the shoot was wonderful. Joey went out of his way to be so kind and did a great job of making my fiancé and I comfortable in general and in front of the camera! I booked Joey to capture a surprise engagement at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. From the start, Joey was professional, kind, and helpful. He continuously went out of his way to make sure all plans were in place for the moment. The photos themselves were jaw-dropping. Joey was kind enough to guide us through rocky terrain, set up each picture, and even give us a lift home back to our AirBnB. The photos were turned around even quicker than we expected. A great photographer! Very personable and comfortable to work with, dedicated to the vision and highly knowledgeable about all things lighting related. I feel in San Diego it's quite a treat to find a photographer so well versed in artificial light. Gives good direction and lets you know what's happening all along the way.

Joey was friendly, professional, and pleasant to work with! The photos I received exceeded my expectations and I am impressed with the variety of moods/styles he was able to capture in a single shoot. I can recommend him especially for dance/aerial arts photography. I know movement is notoriously difficult to capture well, but he got so many beautiful shots.
